Community Scholars Program

Are you interested in receiving a four-year, full-tuition award to Edgewood College?

Every year, Edgewood College invites up to four incoming freshmen to join the Community Scholars Program. These Scholars receive a full-tuition award, textbook vouchers,and a laptop. Along with these great benefits, students in the Community Scholars Program participate in cohort meetings, leadership development retreats, regional conferences, group service projects, and contribute 200 hours of Service and Leadership hours annually.

The Community Scholars Program seeks to develop informed, engaged, just and compassionate leaders from and for Dane County. Community Scholar award recipients join a team of students committed to academic excellence, personal/vocational identity, community service and leadership development.

To be considered for the Community Scholars Award, prospective students must:

  • Apply to Edgewood College and meet the admissions requirements
  • Demonstrate financial need through the completion of the Edgewood College Financial Aid Application or the FAFSA
  • Be a graduating high school senior, residing in Dane County
  • Demonstrate a commitment to giving back to the Dane County Community through service and civic engagement.
