On Friday, February 22nd, the Edgewood College Black Student Union celebrated Black History Month with a Culture of Art's Expo.

On Saturday, 2/16, Edgewood College welcomed the Black History Education Conference to campus. The theme of the conference was Bringing the Gifts My Ancestors Gave and featured 22 evidence-based interventions associated with Black students' educational outcomes.

On Sunday, 1/27, Jesse Hagopian engaged Madison Metro School District Teachers and Faculty at Edgewood College on the topic of Teaching for Black Lives.

The Dean of the School of Education says its part of the college’s social justice mission.

“Edgewood has been committed to our Dominican tradition in compassion, truth, justice, partnership and community,” Dean Tim Sleckar said. “This is what this whole book encompasses.”
